Adams Speedline Fairway Wood
Adams golf was the leader in innovation that produced the hyrbid clubs that are so popular these days, and the Adams Speedline fairway wood series takes that next step in club design by combining the playability of a hybrid with the added distance of a traditional wood.
The Speedline series takes advantage of the company’s patented Boxer Technology to produce clubs with an MOI 12% higher than that of a normal fairway wood. The center of gravity has also been lowered by 15%, creating better launch conditions.

More importantly, the Adams Speedline fairway wood series is as easy to hit and has similar feel to a hybrid club. They can be hit out of non-traditional fairway wood lies, and sweep through the grass easily. It’s not quite as versatile as a hybrid in that regard – don’t try hitting it out of deep rough or if the ball is buried– but it’s a great choice for players who like to use their woods whenever possible because it’s designed to make more balls outside of the fairway into playable shots. Once the ball is struck, the clubhead design produces higher ball speed and less spin, adding to the distance.
An additional tip for golfers struggling with their driver: try hitting the Adams Speedline fairway wood off the tee. It's like hitting the most forgiving three-wood on the market, offering both distance and control on a shot that many struggle with.
