Cleveland

Cleveland golf has taken the technology that has served it so well in its drivers and adapted it for use in a pair of fairway woods, the Cleveland Launcher and the Cleveland HiBORE XLS.

That's most notable in the HiBORE, which has the Distance Driven Geometry, Energy Transfer Core, and Full Face Performance that characterize the company's HiBORE drivers. Each helps increase ball speed and distance, by optimizing the center of gravity and increasing the size of the sweet spot and the resulting ball speed. It's tough to find a fairway wood that's better at transferring the energy at impact from the clubhead to the ball than the Cleveland HiBORE XLS.

The Cleveland Launcher has a larger clubhead that has a high MOI and sweet spot, producing a mid-trajectory launch with low spin. It's clubface is 11% larger than the rest of the Launcher line, and can be customized to get higher or lower trajectories with three-woods that have different lofts depending on what suits the individual's game. Finding a more forgiving fairway wood than this one takes a lot of effort. Either option can be a great choice for getting increased distance from a fairway wood without sacrificing control.
