The Ping Rapture V2 fairway woods use the density of tungsten and the intricacies present in the Ping design to form clubs that make it easy to hit high-arcing shots that fly towards the green.
Designers took full advantage of the multi-material construction, with a tungsten sole, a stainless steel body, and a plasma-welded machined steel face. The tungsten sole plate is the big feature.
