Ping Rhapsody Fairway Woods Review
Ping Rhapsody fairway woods are designed to give women a set of clubs designed for their game and for their swing speed, producing clubs that get the ball in the air and down the fairway whether they’re being hit off the tee or anywhere else on the course.
The series has a long and shallow face, offering an increased hitting surface while also providing forgiveness and control. It is longer from heel to toe than earlier Ping models, which inspires consistent performance even from bad lies.
Each of the clubs in the Ping Rhapsody fairway woods series has an internal weight pad, taken with the weight saved by redesigning the crown, face and hosel. That weight pad is at the bottom of the stainless steel clubhead, increasing the ball's velocity on impact while reducing the spin.
In addition, the Rhapsody clubs are lighter than the models geared for men, especially at the higher lofts. That helps increase the clubhead speed and improve distance.
The Ping Rhapsody fairway woods come in 3 Wood, 5 Wood, 7 Wood and 9 Wood versions, with lofts ranging from 18 to 30 degrees, in both right and left-handed models.
