Taylor Made Burner Tour Launch Fairway Wood Review
The Taylor Made Burner Tour Launch fairway wood is designed to give advanced players a forgiving wood that offers the distance and workability that low-handicappers demand.
A big part of the Burner design is the triangular head shape, which creates a larger hitting surface, better launch angles, and added forgiveness. That's augmented by the Dual Crown technology, which produces a low center of gravity and extra carry and distance. That center of gravity is a little more forward here than it is on the Burner High Launch, which makes it a little less forgiving but more workable for players who can shape their shots.
This club also has a super thin club wall of just .55 millimeters. That helps the ball explode off the clubface, as does the SuperFast technology that emphasizes thinness and lightness. It all adds to the swing speed and gets the impact energy efficiently from the clubhead to the ball.
The Taylor Made Burner Tour Launch fairway wood comes in Tour Spoon, 3 Wood and 5 Wood models with a 70-gram graphite shaft standard, and can fit in well in any bag from the PGA Tour to the local nine-hole course.
